As part of ongoing efforts to expand WISHCARD operations, Digital Wishes‘ printing centre in Brilon has officially opened after a test period. For cost reasons, management had decided on in-house production. Maximum production capacity currently stands at 1,000,000 vouchers per week. At the current stage of development, the site has storage capacity for up to 5,000,000 vouchers.

Some 30% of production and packaging during this initial phase is being done in the company’s own printing centre, with the additional 70% or so taking place at partner companies in the Brilon area. For the next phase, they plan to build a fully automated production facility, capable of processing, assembling, packaging, and preparing the vouchers for shipping, for personalised WISHCARDS.

And so Seven Miles will soon be able to produce and deliver quickly and on an order basis.
